Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to play a key role in the ongoing development of the SATURN platform. In this role, you will participate in developing SATURN UI/UX to meet the needs of global energy, financial, and commodity enterprises. This is a hands-on role that combines deep technical expertise in front-end engineering with an understanding of user experience design, data visualization, and enterprise workflows.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end services and applications.
  • Integrate back-end elements developed by back-end developers with front-end logic.
  • Design and manage databases, including schema design, query optimization, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for new and existing solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, back-end developers, and users to define and deliver new features.
  • Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and advocate for engineering best practices.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s development processes and tooling.

Qualifications 

  • 15+ years of experience in professional software development, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise SaaS platforms, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Proficiency in Java, Scala, JavaScript and Java frameworks including Spring, Akka, and Hibernate. 
  • Strong experience with microservices, API design, and data-intensive application development.
  • Solid grounding in data modeling, large-scale data processing, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
  • Demonstrated success mentoring engineers and driving technical initiatives in complex organizations.
  • Self-motivated with analytical thinking; thrives with autonomy and limited direction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required; advanced degree a plus.
